About Kathleen

Kathleen Rhodes, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado with a deep commitment to helping individuals and families heal and grow.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, specializing in At-Risk Youth, from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2013. She then completed her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado Denver in 2017. where she also provided therapy to students and community members through the university’s mental health clinic.

Since 2012, Kathleen has specialized in working with children and families affected by substance use. Her deep expertise in familial substance use and its ripple effects on the entire family system allows her to understand trauma and healing on a profound level.

Kathleen integrates experiential, feminist, and narrative therapy techniques to help clients gain self-awareness and rewrite the narratives that no longer serve them. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and dedicated to ongoing cultural competence, staying current with best practices in psychotherapy.
